From the creator of Shakespeare for my Father and Nightingale comes a new solo work in progress. In what promises to be a thrilling evening of theater, Redgrave will share with us this tribute to her mother, the actress Rachel Kempson, and her lifelong love of the role of Juliet. Interweaving remembrance, anecdote, and passages from Shakespeare, Redgrave will create a companion piece to her unforgettable Shakespeare for my Father, in which, as New York magazine wrote, “the actress brings Shakespeare and contemporary audiences closer together than most of them have ever been.”
